MOTORHEAD frontman is fruitless

Smaller news from Motorhead as frontman Lemmy Kilmister has been warned off the berries.

After the health issues the rock icon has faced recently, doctors advised him to cut down on smoking and drinking. Although among the list of things you would expect to cut down on when facing some serious body problems, blueberries isn’t exactly a list topper.

Speaking to Yahoo Music, Lemmy says:

“I would get these cravings. They found out there’s something in blueberries that isn’t good for me, so I stopped and got better.

It’s crazy – you can’t drink anything but water and can’t eat anything but fibrous bread. Getting old is a lot of fun”

Following the announcement of a new Motorhead album, due to kick off 22nd January 2015, the frontman says: “Our record company is always asking for more stuff. They want to get the most out of me as possible before I die.”

In saying that, Lemmy has proved that he’s not going down without a fight.

As always, stay heavy.
