Suspected Metallica concert murderer captured 5 years later

Back in 2009 Morgan Dana Harrington was murdered after her last whereabouts being noted at a Metallica concert in Charlottesville, VA. After Metallica themselves spoke out when she was reported missing to then begin campaigning a reward for any information that would lead to her killer after her body was found with expected cause being homicide, the case seemed to have gone cold.

After 5 years it appears to have re-opened as Jesse Matthew, a man being charged with the disappearance of student Hannah Graham on the 13th September, is now under investigation as forensic evidence from Harrington’s murder has identified him positively as her killer.

Morgan’s family can now be at rest knowing that her killer is now in custody.
