Black Veil Bob Rock?

So here’s an interesting one: Bob Rock has teamed up with teenage fan-girl magnets Black Veil Brides to produce their next album. For those of you who don’t know BVB, you’re lucky.

Their first album We Stitch These Wounds(2010) managed to grow their fanbase and provide the drive to produce another 2 albums Set the World on Fire and Wretched and Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones (2013).

Considering their once panda meets heavy metal style, the brides have ditched the image and seem to be focusing on improving their music. Miracles can happen I guess...

Bob Rock, known mostly for his work with Motley Crue and Metallica (for better or worse depending on your opinion) has joined BVB and plans are underway for the album release on October 28th this year. With the release being only 8 days after Slipknot’s 5: The Gray Chapter, I can’t see any charts being topped by the brides.

None the less, despite my heavy biased opinion, their released single Heart of Fire isn’t too bad. Andy Biersack still sounds like he’s singing with a blocked nose and the unnecessary number of solos is still far too high but I can see this doing better than all of Black Veil Brides previous stuff.

Is it still the same old Black Veil Brides or has it improved? Even just a bit?

As always, stay heavy.
